I ask for your vote and your help. If you elect me I promise I will bring honor and integrity to the State House and represent the people of North Smithfield and Burrillville to the best of my ability. Being a good state representative is about listening to your constituents and advocating their positions before the rest of the state. At the same time, it is about using independent judgment to do what you think is right, what is best for North Smithfield and Burrillville and, most of the time, for the rest of the state of Rhode Island as well. Being a good state representative is about calling people who cross the line to account. It is about making tough decisions that will make some people unhappy but always making the decision that you believe is the right one and the best one for the people you represent, whether it is momentarily popular or not. If you elect me this fall, I promise that I will live by that creed. I will do what I say I will do. I will not make false promises or promise things that are unrealistic and that I cannot keep. You may not always agree with me on a particular issue but you can be sure that I will always listen to your concerns and that I will always vote my conscience.
